Watsapp To Launch Video Calling Feature Soon

As stated by a German website MACERKOPF,Whatsapp is soon going to launch video calling feature.

Going with the images published by the website its most likely that the new version (v2.12.16.2) will have the video calling features.This feature will be further supported by new add-ons which includes a mute button placed left side to the call disconnect button and a camera-switch button to help switching between front and rear camera placed on the right to the call disconnect button.

According to the reports the below images are taken from the new Whatsapp version i.e.v2.12.16.2 for iOS.The new update will also enable users to switch between different conversations without returning to the chat lists.


Although their has been official confirmation from Facebook on the new Whatsapp update but once live this feature will surely outrun some of the existing video calling softwares like Skype and Facetime.

Whatsapp has certainly grown leaps and bounds since Facebook purchased it for $22 billion.Whtsapp has currently 900 million monthly active users currently and it is as big as its parent company Facebook.The new update is reportedly to be launched on iOS in a couple of weeks,however Android users have to wait a little longer.
