OnePlus 6 spotted on Geekbench, listing Confirms Android 8.1 Oreo, 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 845

The next OnePlus versions of phone is coming to India on May 17 and is called OnePlus 6. But before we speak about the specs, leaks, and rumors there’s a lot to be revealed of the next flagship killer. In the latest leak, the OnePlus phone OnePlus 6 has made it to the Geekbench website, revealing some of the specifications that have already been confirmed by the company. Earlier we saw the brand ambassador of OnePlus leaking a photo of it on his twitter handle which was deleted sometime after it was posted.

The listing on Geekbench, noticed by GSMArena, mentions a OnePlus phone with the model number A6003. The phone has scored a whopping 2402 in single-core test and 8931 in multi-core test, which is fairly decent since they have a Snapdragon 845 processor inside the phone. The test results are apparently with the latest software in the phone as the listing notes May 7, 2018 as the upload date for the Geekbench results.

The listing confirms that OnePlus 6 will come out with an Android 8.1. This in other words, will support the OnePlus 6 along with the Project Treble, which will make updation of software and system software in the phone way easier. On the top of the Android 8.1 in the OnePlus 6, the phone will run the Oxygen OS that OnePlus has out in all its phones. The Oxygen OS is a supercharged version of Android which has new features while keeping the Android clean stock and an intuitive notification system. It is expected that the OnePlus 6 will come with some unique gestures as well as will allow users to tweak some of its interface, such as giving people an option to switch the position of back and menu buttons.

The Geekbench listing will show that the OnePlus 6 will come with atleast 8GB RAM. This is something that OnePlus CEO Peter Lou had confirmed earlier. The phone will come with AMOLED screen, 256GB Memory, a fingerprint scanner, glass back, 3.5mm headphone jack. It is expected that in India, the debut price of the OnePlus 6 could be around Rs 35,000. The phone is expected to ship with dual cameras and a recent short video posted by OnePlus hinted that the phone will support Slo-Mo videos.
